ADR-0006: DHCP on Domain Controller During Phase 1

Accepted for Phase 1

Decision

Run DHCP on HQ-DC01 during Phase 1.

Context

The lab starts small and needs to reduce initial VM count. DHCP can be moved to a dedicated server or configured for failover in later phases.

Consequences

• Faster initial deployment.
• Fewer VMs required.
• Later refactoring may be needed for enterprise realism.
