Deploy HQ-FW01¶
Purpose¶
Deploy OPNsense as the firewall and router for the lab.

Installation notes¶
- Create the VM in Proxmox.
- Attach the OPNsense ISO.
- Assign NIC 1 to WAN.
- Assign NIC 2 to LAN.
- Install OPNsense.
- Reboot and remove ISO.
- Assign interfaces correctly inside OPNsense.
Validation¶
- WAN receives provider IP or configured static IP.
- LAN interface is reachable from a test VM or console path.
- OPNsense web UI is accessible only from the intended management network.
